What is Call for Prayer in America about?

Call for Prayer in America is not just about your regular prayer time...it's about extraordinary prayer. It's about commitment. We're joining with people across the country with a specific prayer, at a specific time for the specific needs in America. It's simple to be a part of it. The short video clip below was filmed while on a mission trip to Washington DC for an inner city experience. While on the trip, the teenagers learned about the soon official launch of Call for Prayer in America and they wanted to be a part of it so they put this video together. This is a wake up call for the American Church

From most recent statistics, 23.5 million or 1 in 10 Americans are addicted to alcohol and drugs. In the United States, 62% of professing Christians support same-sex marriage and do not see it is a sin. America has the highest incarceration rate and largest prison population in the entire world. America has the highest STD infection rate in the world. Over 1900 babies are aborted every single day in America. There are over 3 million reports of child abuse in our nation every year in America. One out of every four children in our nation is growing up in a home without a father...

It's time for the church to wake up

2 Chron. 7:14 - If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.”
If we want to see salvation and revival then it will be because of His people humbling themselves and committing to prayer and holiness. Hope for our nation will not be found in the halls of congress, a new economic plan, better educational system, or in securing the border. The only hope we have is Jesus Christ.

God is Calling us to GREATER levels of Commitment

It's not America that needs revival...it's the church. You can only revive that which has been given life and that's the church. Non-believers don't need revival. They need resurrection. They're searching for hope, truth and love and we're the only way they're going to find it. We're uniting together in prayer to see people living out their faith and becoming radical...for the church to become strong once again.

If we want to see a move of God across this nation, it must first start in our homes. With prayer at the heart and center of our every day lives, families become stronger and are more effective for Christ. We are encouraging families across America to make the commitment to pray together on a daily basis. If we want to see change in a nation, it must start in the family and in our personal prayer lives.

The heart of this mission is to see every hour of every day filled with prayer warriors. Choose a 30 minute time slot to fill and make a weekly commitment to praying during that time specifically for the American church and for salvation in our nation. How Your Church Can Get Involved

Matthew 21:13 says "And said unto them, It is written, My house shall be called the house of prayer; but ye have made it a den of thieves." Do you remember old fashioned prayer meetings?  Why did we stop doing them? If we're not careful we can become so busy that we can't even carve away extra time each week for prayer meeting with fellow believers. Revival comes on the wings of prayer and we will never preach our way into revival. We are asking churches to commit to making corporate prayer a priority through weekly prayer meetings, organizing corporate prayer rallies or prayer meetings on a monthly basis with other churches in their communities and by cultivating an atmosphere of prayer in their weekly services.

When God placed this ministry on our hearts, we had no idea how many different prayer networks there were.  We soon realized that there are many powerful ministries with people that have been interceding and filling the gap for years for our nation.  This prayer revival is about making prayer a priority in every part of our lives, uniting evangelical Christians together and as we pray for strength and revival in the church, we become stronger and revived as we boldly live out our faith and stand for truth.   It's time to unite together as one voice together for Jesus Christ and you have the opportunity to be a part of it!
