I had a dream last night I want to share…we were in a warehouse of some sort with an inner safe room and there was a storm coming but everyone kept blowing it off as if it wasn’t going to be a big deal. Everyone was out in the warehouse eating and talking and I kept urging them to come into the safe room but they wouldn’t listen. They kept wanting to finish their meal. Slowly they started to come one by one into the safe room but many didn’t come. I finally had no choice but to shut the door. Those that were eating were too late. When I shut the door, we went and looked out the back window and we saw 5 tornadoes coming our way. We looked at each other and braced ourselves for what was coming and knew that we were in the safest place as possible.
I woke up from my dream and in my spirit I was reminded that there is a storm coming. We recently saw what happened in Dallas and we can look at the steady decline in morality and all of the many signs that are pointing to the end times. You may be ready for the rapture, but many people aren’t. They’re eating and drinking and living for today…focused on their four and no more. This is even the state of many that are part of the church. Luke 17:26-27 puts it like this “Just as it was in the days of Noah, so also will it be in the days of the Son of Man. People were eating, drinking, marrying and being given in marriage up to the day Noah entered the ark. Then the flood came and destroyed them all.”
So my first question is: Are you ready should the Lord come back today? If not then please don’t wait until it’s too late. Repent of your sins. Admit to God that you are a sinner and realize that you need a Savior. “If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.” (1 John 1:9) Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and you will be saved (Acts 16:31). Believe that he died as a sacrifice for your sin and rose again on the third day. He is the only way to God the Father- (John 14:6). Confess your faith in Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord to others.
Second I ask: If you’re ready, then what are you doing to prepare? Are you sharing Jesus and being His hands and feet with those around you…praying for lost souls and crying out to God on their behalf? Are you committed in prayer like you need to be? Or, are you just trying not to think about it?
Lastly I leave you with Psalm 91:1-4 “Whoever dwells in the shelter of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of the Lord, ‘He is my refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust.’ Surely he will save you from the fowler’s snare and from the deadly pestilence. He will cover you with his feathers, and under his wings you will find refuge; his faithfulness will be your shield and rampart.” There is a storm coming and the best possible place you can be is in His presence and in His perfect will. I urge you to join with us in 24/7 prayer and choose a time that you can commit to praying for our nation. You don’t have to pray the entire 30 minutes if that seems too intimidating. My daughter said “momma I just don’t know if I could commit to praying for a whole 30 minutes”. So if that’s holding you back then please don’t let that stop you. There may be 3 or 4 praying within that time frame so there will be overlapping. We’re praying for the revival and strength of the church, for the salvation in our nation, for God’s people to unify as one and for division to disappear. It’s time to BE THE CHURCH outside of the four walls that have separated us for so long. Will you join in on the prayer revival?
